In the heart of lower Manhattan, the vibrant Moxy Lower East Side hotel stands at the corner of Broome and Bowery. A testament to modern design and urban allure, it was developed by Lightstone Group and designed by Stonehill & Taylor Architects. The Moxy Lower East Side is the fourth addition to the Moxy family in New York City. With its cutting-edge interiors and beautiful social spaces, the hotel embraces the spirit of the Lower East Side while providing an accessible haven for adventurous souls seeking unforgettable experiences.

Under the creative direction of Stonehill & Taylor Architects and the masterful touch of Focus Lighting, the elevator interiors at the Moxy Lower East Side have become veritable works of art. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, they blend form and function, captivating guests upon entry. Collaborating with Contractor Services and elevator consultant Jenkins & Huntington Inc, we manufactured and installed Stonehill & Taylor Architects' visionary concepts to life.

Captivating the senses with its delightful and sophisticated charm, this exceptional design presents a harmonious fusion of metals, offering a visually striking experience. The walls and drop ceiling feature a combination of blackened stainless steel, elegantly decorated with a custom, laser-cut "bubble" metal overlay. This overlay showcases the stunning mirror-finished T22 Onyx Black by Rimex, adding a touch of refined elegance to the elevator interior. Soft Mandtec Illuminator perimeter lighting casts a magical glow as your eyes gaze upward. At the same time, a gracefully dimmed spotlight accentuates the space with a touch of intrigue. The result is an elevator that seamlessly marries playfulness and functionality.

The second elevator design presents a departure from its counterpart, embracing a nostalgic aesthetic that exudes timeless charm. The design incorporates a thoughtful blend of metals, with one side featuring the understated elegance of T22 Quartz Bronze Vortex by Rimex Metal in a matte finish. On the opposite side, guests are greeted by the touch of luxury with T22 Prestige Gold by Rimex Metals in a mirror finish, framed tastefully using Antique Brass 316 architectural mesh from Kent Design and Manufacturing. Soft linear LED lights delicately illuminate the top and bottom of the wall, accentuating the intricate details. A carefully positioned sconce light adds a subtle vintage charm. The result is a beautiful cabin that transports guests to a bygone era, evoking a sense of refined sophistication and timeless allure.
