The Greenpoint, or 21 India Street as it is otherwise known, is Greenpoint's newest and tallest residential high-rise. The 39-story, the 463-unit luxury building was developed by Mack Real Estate Group, Palin Enterprises, and Urban Development Partners and designed by Ismael Leyva Architects. Together with G-Tech Associates, the elevator contractor, we were awarded the manufacturing and installation of the building's five-passenger and four-service elevator interiors.

The Greenpoint features a unique, luxurious passenger elevator with a stunning upper and lower design. The upper portion of the elevator cab features three safety laminated "Smoked Mirror" panels, one on each side. Each of the mirrors is wrapped in oxidized bronze binders. The lower panels are faced with a black-matte Bistro Brick by Siena Marble & Tile, set in a herringbone pattern. The lower panels are also wrapped in oxidized bronze binders. Three chair rails composed of blackened steel separate the upper and lower sections. This same steel is also found on the doors, return walls, fronts, base, and reveals. The drop ceiling is furnished using Terramai White Oak in a custom-stained finish. It contains three single-slot LED lights by Aion LED.

When it comes to elevator design, the Greenpoint is hard to beat. With its stunning upper and lower design, this elevator is sure to add a touch of sophistication and elegance to any luxury residential or commercial building.
